さまざまな医療で用いられる画像の新しい画像取得法や解析法、それらの臨床における有用性を研究している。その大きな柱として、磁気共鳴画像（MRI）の新しい撮像技術や画像解析技術の開発とそれらの臨床応用の研究を行っている。具体的には、1)画像データから観察したい物質情報を抽出し処理を行った画像を用いたアルツハイマー病診断や詳細な脳解剖の研究、2)画像情報から得られる定量値を用いた様々な疾患におけるバイオマーカーの開発を行っている。

Our researches include developing new analyzing methods for various medical images and assessing the usefulness of these methods in clinical practice. A major topic of our research is the development of novel MR imaging sequences and post-processing techniques, specifically 1) application for diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease with phase information of amyloid plaque, 2) research of imaging biomarkers in various diseases using quantitative information such as diffusion and perfusion MRI.
